Some closer pictures of my dad's Zabuza Sword (Zabuza is from Naruto)
The Sword is made from one solid piece of wood, the handle is a fencepost.
Basically, the blade was carved from the piece of wood. The fencepost was split with a saw-zaw down the middle. The wood slipped split spot and bolted down. Then it was covered with PVC pipe and bondo'd. Painted and antiqued many times. The Sword is 7 foot 6 inches tall standing up, and it weighs 15 pounds.
